Ruben sits within our team in Shanghai as Sensory Associate Director, with an impressive catalogue of academic achievements.

Having completed a Food Science & Nutrition degree at London's South Bank University, he then went on to study for his PhD at Nottingham. In total, he has an impressive 6 years experience in the FMCG industry and 4 years in Sensory Science.

Ruben schedules and manages our 5 sensory panels in Shanghai and develops relationships with clients involved in sensory research.

Aside from the heaps of industry experience that he brings, Ruben is (maybe more impressively) a fully qualified pastry chef with 10 years experience and has even spent time working in Michelin star restaurants!
(I know... we couldn't believe it either)

When he gets a chance to breathe, Ruben enjoys running marathons, reading superhero comics and embarking on the never ending quest for the perfect chocolate cake recipe - he has our full support on this important journey.
