Snacking itself appears to be in rude health. The new Global Consumer Snacking Trends Study by Mondelez has found that consumers are increasingly choosing snacks over meals, with 55% expressing a higher probability to snack across all three traditional mealtimes.

Australian insect farmer and food producer Circle Harvest have hit the ground running with their Cricket Corn Chips. Enriched with cricket protein, these crisps take the hassle away from finding healthy snacking alternatives. Apart from their Cricket Corn Chips, Circle Harvest prides themselves in offering a variety of nutritious meals in convenient formats that can be incorporated into daily diets.
Plant-based food company Snackboy has partnered with Australian based sustainable ice-cream brand Denada to launch two low-calorie, high-fiber snack bites available in Raspberry Donut and Cookie Caramel Fudge. The Raspberry Donut Snack Bite features a Denada vanilla ice-cream flavor inspired base with a gooey raspberry donut crème core and a pink coconut dusting. The Cookie Caramel Fudge Snack Bite contains a Denada’s peanut butter ice-cream flavor inspired base with a gooey caramel fudge core, dark chocolate chips and a vanilla biscuit crumb coating. The innovative snack bites feature ingredients that are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. The Snackboy x Denada Snack Bites are exclusively available at Coles Supermarkets across Australia.
Daring's Teriyaki Plant Chicken Pieces are the newest flavor to be added to the company’s range of plant-based chicken products. This latest addition can be eaten as a snack or added to salads and other dishes. Daring's range of Plant Chicken pieces are also offered in Original, Cajun as well as Lemon & Herb flavors.
These Rainbow Trout Skin Crisps from Woolworths South Africa are produced from trout fish farmed in the cold waters of Lesotho Highlands and the Western Cape. The trout skin snacks are high in protein, low in carbohydrates, and full of Omega-3 fatty acids. They are chilled smoked, hand cut, perfectly golden-brown fried in small quantities, and seasoned to make a crispy snack. The Rainbow Trout Skin Crisps are available in two flavors, salted and salt and vinegar.
